The full name of AIDS is ‘Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome’ and this disease is caused by HIV (human immunodeficiency virus). This virus weakens the human immune system.
AIDS is a disease that spreads as a threat to the world. Rescue from this disease also seems very difficult. Scientists around the world are working hard to get rid of this disease, but no success has been made so far. AIDS is a major disease because of lack of treatment which can completely remove the virus but to an extent the scientist had worked so far so as to halt the disease and the virus can be make inactive with the help of medicine so that even the HIV positive person can live a happy and healthy life. If not treated then about 60% of people are victims of death within a year when symptoms of this illness appear.
